For all accounts, this doesn't really qualify as movie news. But it's a slow Friday night, and I have nothing better to do than write-up some fun little posts as I sit on the couch and watch "Speed". This movie is odd, by the way. In some scenes, I'm convinced the movie has aged fairly well and am still impressed by aspects; but in others I'm not sure what they were thinking even back in 1994... Regardless, it's still a serviceable action film that I'll gladly fill my night with tonight.
Anyway, have you seen the trailer made by Paranickfilmz for the film "The Dark Knight Rises"? It mimics the real trailer but is done entirely with Legos. Yes, Legos. Most of you will surely exclaim that these people have way too much time on their hands - and while I don't think anyone would dispute it, it's actually a pretty sweet trailer. I'm amazed by how well it still holds the drama and tension of the original version.
Check it out after the break - and by the way, if you haven't seen the real trailer I have linked above, I do recommend checking it out before the video embedded below. Going into it with a point of reference definitely makes it more palatable.
"The Dark Knight Rises" is directed by Christopher Nolan and is the final installment of his Batman series. It stars Christian Bale, Anne Hathaway, Tom Hardy, Gary Oldman, and Michael Caine. It hits theaters July 20, 2012.
