Thanks for checking out the latest edition of Photo Bomb!, your weekly roundup of all movie-related photos and posters floating around the internet.
Things have cooled off a touch this week now that Comic-Con has passed, but there's still plenty of great stuff to go over! Unlike last week, where we were light on the photos and heavy on the posters, this week we flip that around, and have a few more photos than posters to share. Photos this week are included for films "DREDD", "The Dark Knight Rises", "Oz: The Great and Powerful", "Looper", "Iron Man 3", "Skyfall", "End of Watch", and "Silent Hill: Revelation". As for the movie posters, we're looking at "Man of Steel", "Godzilla", "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn, Part 2", "The Master", "The Campaign", "Lawless", and "Gangster Squad".
Check them all out after the break!
We'll start with some of these new images from "DREDD", since they just released last night. I think I'm interested in this film, though maybe not anticipated. Everything looks campy and fun though, and I expect the film will be a good time. It hits theaters September 21, 2012. (JoBlo)

Next we have some of the first images from Sam Raimi's latest Wizard of Oz film, "Oz: The Great and Powerful". I tend to agree with Derek and his thoughts regarding the scenery in the trailer, but they still look pretty neat. I'm hoping Raimi can really make something out of this. (Collider)
We move on to a few new images for "Looper". Nothing special here, but I'm digging this cast and premise. I can't wait for this film to hit theaters in September. Should be a good time. (HeyUGuys)
These are some behind-the-scenes stunt shots from "Iron Man 3". Obviously these don't give you a whole lot of information, but it's cool to see all of this stuff happening in the background, knowing what the final product ends up as. (StarNewsOnline)
A good variety of different stills for the latest James Bond flick, "Skyfall". We'll see this one in theaters November 9, 2012. Let's hope this installment is more Casino Royale and less Quantum of Solace. (Kinopoisk)
Up next, how about a few stills from "End of Watch". I'm not in love with cop dramas, but I like Jake Gyllenhaal, and director David Ayer did a good job before with "Training Day", so I'm sure this will be solid. It hits theaters September 28, 2012. (MovieWeb)
And we round out the Photos section with our first image from the newest film to the Silent Hill library, "Silent Hill: Revelation". From the first clip for the film, the imagery at least seems pretty in-line with the 2006 film. If nothing else, I really enjoyed the imagery of that film, so as long as they can keep that up, it should be a good start. This picture is fairly standard though. (IGN)
As we move on to the Movie Posters section, we start off with the newest one for Zack Snyder's Superman film, "Man of Steel". While the cast is great, I'm just not digging the tones I'm hearing on this film. We have yet to see a trailer though, so I'll reserve full opinions until then. (Hollywood)
Up next is the first poster for the reboot of "Godzilla". It's just a teaser poster, but it's pretty cool to know that this is happening. Gareth Edwards is directing the film, who last helmed 2010's "Monsters". This lesser-seen sci-fi movie is definitely worth your time if you missed it when it released. (CinemaBlend)
Here are WAY too many new character posters for the final Twilight installment, "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn, Part 2". Seriously, do we really need all of these? The amount is literally laughable. I didn't want to include all of them, but I don't care or know about any of the characters so I didn't know which were the best to include/safest to leave off. So I apologize for the quality. Once you scroll past them, there's plenty more good stuff to follow. (Collider)
Here's the first poster for Paul Thomas Anderson's newest film, "The Master". I've always liked PTA's work (though I still don't understand the ending of "Magnolia"...), and I expect similar quality from this film, which is said to take indirect jabs at the religion of Scientology (and it's okay, he ran the idea by Tom Cruise first). (Movieline)
Two more posters for "The Campaign", which stars Will Ferrell and Zach Galifianakis as competing politicians. I've already voiced my disinterests for this film, but if this is the sort of thing you're into, it looks like it might be a good time. (IMP Awards)
Next we have a nice character poster for the Depression-era crime drama, "Lawless". Pretty fantastic cast from top to bottom on this one. I have good interests and expectations for the film, which is set to release August 29, 2012. (IMP Awards)
And we finish up with this character banner for "Gangster Squad". I really love the fonts happening in this; it feels very 1950's pulp (which is surely what it was going for). The whole thing is thrown off for me though with the standard images of the actors just tacked on top. They really should have used some stylized effects and maybe even put all of the images in more of a sepia tone or something. Then I think this could have been one of the best posters I've seen all year. Instead, it just feels a little effortless (and not in the good way). (PopulationGo)
That's all of the new photos and posters we have this week, but I'll finish the post off with something cool I saw this week, which I guess technically is defined as a poster. The UK design studio DOROTHY developed this new print which takes the style of a vintage L.A. street map and works attractions, and more. It's actually pretty impressive. And best of all, if you fall in love with it, you can order yourself a copy of the print from their site! Plus, how epic is all of that stuff that's going on in the close-up of Jurassic Park? That's no place I ever want to visit!!
But that's what we're looking at this week. Anything in particular stand out to you?
