The film will tell the story of George Mallory (Hardy) and his three attempts to be the first person to climb Mt. Everest. This is the second planned film that involves someone trying to be the first to attempt something of this nature; last week we learned about Casey Affleck role in the film "Race to the South Pole".
I’m a fan of these types of movies, and also the fact that it’s based on true events makes it even more interesting. It doesn’t hurt that Hardy is rapidly becoming one of my favorite actors, and is easily one of the hottest names in the industry right now.

If anyone isn’t familiar with George Mallory and are wanting to be left in the dark, you may want to avoid this.
