Kate Sackhoff Joins Female 'Expendables' Film

We have our second name that has been added to the cast of the female Expendables film. Katee Sackhoff will join Gina Carano in the upcoming film. Sackhoff’s most prominent role is on “Battlestar Galactica”, where she plays Kara “Starbuck” Thrace. I have never watched a single episode of that show, but she did appear on “24” (the greatest show of all time) as Dan Walsh, and I hated her. It had nothing to do with her acting ability, I just didn't like her character.

Okay, if I’m gonna be reporting on this film I might as well get this off my chest right now. I think this film has a very small chance of being successful. If the film has any shot at all, they need to bring a lot more prominent names to the table than Katee Sackhoff. I know it’s still early on with this thing but usually you hear casting for the big name actors/actresses with movies before you get the small ones. If this film peaked with Gina Carano, then this movie is in big trouble.

For now, we’ll keep waiting to see who else will join the cast of the 1984 Private Defense Contractors' film.
