The Trailer Park: At Any Price, The East, Kink, Mud, The Playroom, Red 2, S-VHS, Spring Breakers, Wrong Cops
Welcome to The Trailer Park! - A weekly column rounding up new and newish trailers lurking around the internet.
As always, put on your John Nada sunglasses before the jump or...submit to the advertising.
At Any Price
At first I was like 'Oh. a nice flick to pair with "Promised Land".' Then I was all like, 'aw man it's just another Zac Efron love story vehicle.' Then I was like, 'whoa, this is a real movie.' Ebert says watch it... so I might just do that.
The East
I really like watching Brit Marling grow. She's like Jessica Chastain, just the under the radar indie version.
Kink
"Sticks and stones may break my bones, but chains and whips excite me." - Just a little Rihanna there for ya. No Rihanna in this movie that I know of, but the movie is presented to you via James Franco
Mud
McConaughey is on a roll! Can't wait to see where he takes us in Jeff Nichols's followup to Take Shelter.
The Playroom
This really feels like a 90's movie. It's kind of odd, it obviously takes place in the 70's, yet has me all nostalgic for 90's cinema.
Red 2
Okay, the joke at the end of the trailer is sort of funny in a causes the corner of my mouth to raise sort of way, but I found the first RED movie to be exhaustingly dull. I'm not sure if I can sit through another.
S-VHS
Found Footage. People liked the first V/H/S, right?
Spring Breakers
We've got two versions here. The second is the international trailer. The first one looked nice up until that little A Capella singing bit at the end. Regardless of that bit though, it looks like a winner. I will be seeing it. It is legal to watch, right?
Wrong Cops
I mean, I know it's going to be funny, but can I sit through a whole movie worth of that kind of comedy?
