Welcome to The Trailer Park! - A weekly column rounding up new and newish trailers lurking around the internet. Specifically this week, we feature some of the longest titles ever put to film.
As always, put on your John Nada sunglasses before the jump or... submit to the advertising.
Arthur Newman
If I'm ever to make a Top 5 Golf Movies list in the future, I can see this one making that list, as I usually tend to enjoy these two actors' (Collin Firth & Emily Blunt) work.
Before Midnight
This looks like it could be the most fun installment out of the series. Some of us Slackers are actually getting to get a chance to meet the director Richard Linklater at this month's Ebertfest in Champaign, Illinois. Perhaps we'll get some exclusive new insight on the film!
Bronies: The Extremely Unexpected Adult Fans Of My Little Pony
I always thought Bronies were being ironic in their love for the show, but this trailer has me believing it's a genuine and sincere interest in the cartoon.
Greetings From Tim Buckley
This looks like a good movie with solid performances but my general disinterest in music has me not wanting to give it a chance. That upsets me about myself, I'd like my interest in movies to trump subject matter.
Kick-Ass 2
With Hit-Girl being old enough to swear and such I think her character will suffer. Luckily, it looks like Jim Carrey will be bringing the goods to this movie.
The Mortal Instruments: City Of Bones
Not even the use of "Adagio in D minor" in the trailer can make me want to see this.
Pain and Gain
This is the first trailer that has me wanting to see this movie. It's Red Band!
Percy Jackson And The Sea Of Monsters
I still need to see the first one before I get to this one. Maybe I won't get to either of them.
This Is The End
This Red Band Trailer had me laughing out loud on multiple occasions. Did this just become my most anticipated movie of the year? I think yes!
Vehicle 19
Hollywood, just make Paul Walker Aquaman already so he doesn't have to do lame crap like this between his epic Fast and the Furious movies. In all honesty though, this movie doesn't look like the worst thing ever.
White House Down
I'm only interested in this because Roland Emmerich directed it. Would have been great if he could have found a way to incorporate aliens.
Wish You Were Here
A drug drama.
The Wolverine
All we really know is that this looks better than the other Wolverine movie. Still wish it was an Aronofsky flick though. First I'll give you the International version followed by the domestic.
You're Next
You could make this movie funny if it was actual animals killing the people.
